一、指導思想：
全面貫徹市、區(qū)教研室新學期的工作部署，以實施素質(zhì)教育為中心，以四年級下冊教材編寫指導思想為核心，結(jié)合我校四年級學生的實際，采用適合他們的教學方法，踏實有效地開展教學工作，努力提高學生的英語語言綜合素質(zhì)。
二、學生分析
四年級學生從三年級開始已經(jīng)著力培養(yǎng)使用英語語言的能力，已經(jīng)具備了一定的英語學習能力，積累了一定的語言知識，能對學過的知識進行一定的.自主運用和表達。但學生的基礎知識仍然不扎實，特別是單詞的記憶。學生能夠口頭使用句子進行簡單的交流，但是需要進行書寫的時候?qū)W生每每出現(xiàn)錯誤。經(jīng)過一個學期的相互適應，四年級的學生已經(jīng)基本能配合教師上課的節(jié)奏。因此這個學期的主要目標在引導學困生端正學習態(tài)度和培養(yǎng)記憶單詞的能力，幫助中間層次的學生進一步掌握正確的學習英語的方法和良好的學習習慣，拓展優(yōu)秀生的視野和提高綜合理解靈活運用英語的能力。
三、教學目的任務能按四會、三會的要求掌握所學單詞。
在此基礎上，學習字母的發(fā)音規(guī)律，為五年級的音標學習打好基礎，也為學生記憶新單詞提供新的途徑。
2、 培養(yǎng)良好的學習習慣，能做到書寫整潔規(guī)范，了解英語句子的書寫規(guī)則，能用3到5個簡單句子描述圖片。
3、在已有的英語朗讀習慣的基礎上，鼓勵學生從人物特征出發(fā)，分辨語音、語調(diào)，培養(yǎng)語言的感悟能力。
4、能使用日常交際用語，活用四會句型，進行簡單的交流，做到大膽開口，語音語調(diào)準確、恰當。
四、主要措施根據(jù)學生的實際，督促學生記憶單詞，每課的新單詞爭取做到課課過關(guān)。
善用每次詞匯競賽，及時予以獎勵，增強學生記憶單詞的積極性。
2、延續(xù)上學期以來的學習跟進方式，以課前預習表、作業(yè)登記表、讀書登記表、背誦登記表和單詞競賽卷等載體為評比依據(jù)，全面跟進學生的英語學習狀況，督促并鼓勵學生進行學習。
3、利用直觀教具和多媒體課件相結(jié)合，以活動為課堂教學的主要形式，設計豐富多彩的教學活動，讓學生在樂中學、學中用。特別注意在教學過程中觀察和積累四年級學生喜歡并且高效的活動和游戲，提高課堂學習興趣和效率。
4、分層布置作業(yè)，布置對學生學習幫助較大的作業(yè)，鼓勵有能力的學生在做好課內(nèi)作業(yè)的基礎上多進行課外閱讀（如英語周報等），學困生則只作基本要求。
5、爭取家長的支持，有效地利用好學生的校內(nèi)外時間，培養(yǎng)有能力的學生，關(guān)注學困生，做好培優(yōu)補差的工作。
6、滲透環(huán)境教育。在教授module5 food and drinks時，讓學生知道要學會節(jié)約糧食，喝完的飲料后的易拉罐、塑料瓶或者包裝袋要放進分類垃圾桶，不亂扔，也可以廢物利用。
