青年教師英語講話稿
I teach my students to use classroom English No.3 Middle School Du LiSometimes I asked myself : How can you teach English ? It’s a language , a spoken language ! Do you have a gift for the language ? Then I got the answer : Although I don’t speak English well enough myself , I don’t get discouraged .I can be a good English learner——make every effort to improve my own pronunciation of English so that students can learn good speech habit from the beginning.I believe we must help our students to have dialogues in a life situation in the classroom . Encourage them to talk , follow their thoughts and be ready to supply the right word or expression if necessary .
And tell them there is no need to be afraid of making mistakes . Practice makes perfect !I believe we must help our students to try role playing in many sorts of situations.Give them enough time to prepare in advance. Then each group can present their little situation drama to the class.I believe we must help our students to read and act out simple plays.In this way they will be speaking at length,using correct language.I also believe we must love our students or the subject we are teaching . It’s best if we love them both . Let’s begin with giving them an understanding smile and arouse their interest with our enthusiasm .So I will remind my students : Speak in the class . Speak elsewhere . Speak what you have heard in the classroom . Speak what you have read in the book . Speak much , speak often and you will get more and more fluent in good English speech.
