I wish to apply for admission to your department as a graduate student. I am writing to ask whether it will be possible for you to grant me a full scholarship.
I have just graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and got my bachelor餾 degree last month. During my four years in the university, I have passed all the compulsory courses of study with high marks. Furthermore, I have chosen a wide range of optional courses such as literary, history and public speaking to widen my horizon and sharpen my mind.
My father, a professor of English in Nanjing University, has been teaching me English since I was a child. So I believe I will not have any language difficulties while learning in your country.
I would be most grateful if my request receives your favorable consideration. Thank you in advance and look forward to your early reply.
