They take part in kinds of activities to strengthen listening,speaking,reading and writing skills,such as, free talk,short play,English songs,duty report,etc.I occasionally alter my own teaching style to match the learning style of the students.I give my students English names. This encourages an3English language environment .It gives a closer relationship with the language. Preparation is vital.I think carefully about what I am going to do in my classes and how I am going to organize the teaching and learning .I think a textbook is an aid and not a bible to be rigidly followed day in and day out .I always prepare a lesson plan that contains teaching strategies that focus students on the goal of the lesson .In the classroom management,I try to engage students in the learning proceand provide opportunities for feedback and to use group and individual activities that will bring my studentsinitiative into full play.I manage to my classes fun ,try to create a happy and warm English learning atmosphere .I always found English learning groups from the beginning,thus students can work together and help each other.Because of their cooperation ,some problems can be solved by themselves.It also can foster a spirit of cooperation and friendship in the cla.While the students are working in pairs or groups ,I always spend this time going around the cla,join in sometimes ,and offer encouragement,advice or suggestions .Make note on any important mistakes I hear while Im theyre trying to exprethemselves.I encourage 4them ,not discourage them .About listening ,I ask my students to listen to the tapes often ,follow and imitate normal ,natuaral ,good speaking English .Parents can be great motivators of English learning towards their children .So I use parents to aid my teaching .I encourage the students to take

With the rapid development of science and technology, tele-education has sped up in our country. While many people speak highly of its advantages, others see more disadvantages deriving from it.
The advocates of tele-education give their arguments as follows. For one thing, tele-education makes it possible for people in remote areas to learn the subjects they are interested in. For another, people have a wider range of choices as to teachers and lessons through tele-education, because they can listen to the best lessons by the best teachers in the
country, or even in the world.
Just as “Every advantage has its disadvantages”, the opponents believe that not all the people have acceto tele-education because many are poor. In addition, the students cannot contact teachers, but
interpersonal relations are important to their study.
As far as I am concerned, we should develop tele-education more rapidly to benefit more students. Meanwhile, we can design some programs to help teachers and students to contact each other.

My favorite English filmAs I have seen lots of English films so far, I am a movie fan. If you ask me what my favorite English film is, I will say it is Titanic without hesitation. I like it just because it is my first time that I had a chance to see an English film .besides, it is fascinating.In the movie, there was a big ship-Titanic, which was built In April 10th 1912. It was called the worlds industrial miracle in the history. While crossing the Atlantic Ocean, she hit an iceberg on the way and sank completely. It was a tragedy. Thousands of travelers were swallowed by the sea. Among them, there are two travelers. One is Rose, the other one is Jack.Rose lived in the upper social circle, already tired of the nobles of hypocrisy, which made her depressing and losing the hope of life. Preparation is vital.I think carefully about what I am going to do in my classes and how I am going to organize the teaching and learning .I think a textbook is an aid and not a bible to be rigidly followed day in and day out .I always prepare a lesson plan that contains teaching strategies that focus students on the goal of the lesson .
In the classroom management,I try to engage students in the learning proceand provide opportunities for feedback and to use group and individual activities that will bring my students’initiative into full play.I manage to my classes fun ,try to create a happy and warm English learning atmosphere .I always found English learning groups from the beginning,thus students can work together and help each other.Because of their cooperation ,some problems can be solved by themselves.It also can foster a spirit of cooperation and friendship in the cla.While the students are working in pairs or groups ,I always spend this time going around the cla,join in sometimes ,and offer encouragement,advice or suggestions .Make note on any important mistakes I hear while I’m they’re trying to exprethemselves.I encourage
them ,not discourage them .About listening ,I ask my students to listen to the tapes often ,follow and imitate normal ,natuaral ,good speaking English .
Parents can be great motivators of English learning towards their children .So I use parents to aid my teaching .I encourage the students to take their newly—learned English home .Tell my students to repeat what they have learned today in clato their parents when they arrive home .They can sing a newly—learned song . I encourage my students to learn English outside the classroom ,and I require the students to become actively engaged in constructing their own knowledge .
I have come to realize to be a good teacher is not easy.But I believe if I keep on trying ,I will be .

As a former teacher, I have a personal interest in discovering how teachers who have decided to enter the field of library science can use their teaching backgrounds in their new careers.
The main goals of this unit are:
1. To examine the duties and responsbilities of a language arts teacher.
2. To reflect on how teaching experiences can be used in a library setting.
3. To help former language arts teachers use their backgrounds to aid them in a career in library science by exploring:
a. The role of research in teaching and library science
b. Literary knowledge
c. Critical thinking skills
d. Composition skills
本學期，我任教一年級三個特色班以及六年級（6）班的英語教學工作。在教學過程中，我一直遵從以下幾個理念，進行教學。
一、注重教學過程管理，強調先進教學方法和理念的實施。
如何充分發揮小學英語在實現教育目標中的功能，從而體現小學英語在整個課程中的地位和作用，是小學英語教學必須重視的問題。英語學習的啟蒙階段是非常重要的，教學的成功與否將對學生的終身學習產生深遠影響。小學開設英語課程的目的在于培養學生學習英語的積極情感，形成初步的英語語感，打好語音、語調的基礎，具備用所學英語進行交流的初級能力。通過英語課程的學習，豐富社會生活經歷、開拓視野、樹立學習的自信心。為此在實際教學中我們要求廣大教師積極實踐和探索，在教學目標、課程實施、教學方法、教學評價等方面做到層層推進。在實踐過程中應該明確以下幾點：
1．在教學總體目標上，重興趣、重成就感、重自信心的培養。教師通過多種激勵的方式，如獎品激勵、任務激勵、榮譽激勵、信任激勵和情感激勵等，激發學生積極參與、大膽實踐、體驗成功的喜悅。有了成就感，就有了自信心，學生就會渴望學習英語；在課程實施上，重環境、重頻率、重效率。教學中特別強調語言環境的創設，充分利用和開發電視、錄音、錄像、光碟等多種媒體，豐富教學內容、活躍教學氣氛、創設生動和真實的語言環境。盡量在課堂上創造真實的情境，克服課時少的困難，并且按排早讀課及時復習，保證學生高頻率的接觸英語，為學生創造有效的學習條件，提高學習效率；在語言教學目標上，重語感、重語音語調基儲重交流能力。學校和教師積極創造條件，提供良好的語言環境和設備，通過提供大量的感知、體驗、模仿等實踐活動，幫助學生形成初步的語感。語音語調的學習包括發音、重音、語調、節奏和語流等多方面，教學中要求教師防止以單音準確為目的的教學，通過多聽、多模仿，在有意義的語境中進行訓練，奠定語音語調的基矗強調要培養學生交流能力就要創設交流的情景，使學生通過交流發展交流的能力。
2．在教學模式和方法上，重體驗、重實踐、重參與、重創造。要求教學設計貼近生活，符合小學生興趣的需求；教學內容能引起學生的興趣，例如韻律詩歌、寓言故事、會話表演、游戲等；教學的語言材料要真實、實用。學生在課上通過用中學、學中用，反復實踐，學用結合。功能、結構、話題、任務做到有機結合；以話題為核心，以功能和結構為主線，以任務型活動為目標安排各單元或各課的教學；通過視、聽、說、玩、唱、畫、游、讀、寫、譯等饒有趣味的活動，讓
學生接觸足夠量的語言材料，保證輸入量，“習得”與“學得”結合，使學生逐步培養起初步的語感；通過大量語言材料的輸入，特別是聲像材料的示范，學生模仿，教師指導，使學生逐步形成良好的語音、語調、書寫、拼讀的習慣。設計任務型活動，開放空間，激活學生的思維，培養創造思維。自始至終引導學生通過完成具體任務活動來學習語言，讓學生為了特定的學習目的去進行特定的語言活動，通過完成特定的交際任務來獲得和積累相應的學習經驗。教學方法要多樣，且生動活潑，激發學生的學習興趣。充分利用教科書中的課文創設栩栩如生的情景，為學生提供使用英語進行交流的機會。實踐中，我們發現每當孩子們進入角色，成功地做成一件事，他們便情不自禁，喜形于色，因此興趣倍增、信心加強，動機和情意受到了很大的激勵。同時要求布置的練習形式要多種多樣，做到手、腦、口、耳、眼、肢、體并用，靜態、動態相結合，基本操練與自由練習相結合，單項和綜合練習相結合。通過大量的實踐，使學生具有良好的語音、語調、書寫和拼讀的基礎，并能用英語表情達意，開展簡單的交流活動。
二、創設良好的語言學習環境，擴展英語教學的時空。
⒈靈活安排教學組織和課堂，以學生為主體，充分調動學生的積極性，開展兩人小組、多人小組、成行、成排、半班等多種形式的活動。這是小學英語教學的重要特點之一。只有開展這些活動才能使每一個學生充分地參與課堂實踐，才能體現出語言的交際性，才能實現師生之間和學生之間的互動性。課堂上課桌椅的擺放形式根據教學的需要采用不同的方式——秧田式、半圓式、全圓式、雙圓式等，目的是為了更好地開展各種教學活動。這樣做可以促進師生之間的情感交流，而且可以幫助學生培養起互相關心，合作的團隊精神。
⒉采用多種媒體的現代化教學手段，創設良好的語言環境和充分的語言實踐機會，優化教學過程。利用英語教學音像資源——圖畫、圖表、投影、錄音、錄像、cd、vcd、dvd等多媒體軟件，不僅能為學生提供規范的語音、語調，還可以提供真實自然的語言使用的示范，即語言使用的場合、時間、對象等，而且還有體態語——手勢、動作、表情等的示范。多種媒體的運用使教學變得生動、形象、活潑，感染力強，容易激發學生興趣，引起有意注意，加深印象，幫助學生持久記憶。充分利用現代化教學手段，可以超越時間和空間的限制，使學生置身于以英語為母語的環境中，體驗英語的實際運用。多媒體課件的使用可以使教學過程程序化，大大提高教學的效率，這一點對我們農村學校課時少的小學英語課尤為重要。
⒊把英語學習從有限的課內時空擴展到無限的課外時空，成立小小英語角、學校布置英語走廊、讓學生制作英語畫刊等各種形式的活動極大地提高了學生學英語的熱情，讓學生感受到英語無處不在、無時不學。
三、努力總結和發現問題，及時調整教學策略。
在實際教學過程中，教師應積極實踐，不斷探索，針對實際工作中出現的問題和學生身心特點，總結規律，認真思考，不斷摸索。尤其是在課堂教學中教師應具備良好的應變機制。以下圖表是小學三年級英語課堂教學中的一些實際案例。從中我們可能會有所提示。

四、認真進行質量監控、積極推進評價改革
采用人本與發展的模式來理解教育和人類發展的關系，是當前教育理念的核心，即尊重個體和個體
差異，實施因材施教，實現全人教育，為個體的終身學習打下基矗因此，在教學中必須實施新的評價理念，提倡形成性評價和終結性評價有機結合。做到評價主體互動化，評價內容多元化，評價過程動態化。評價的基本目標是為了教育并促進學生的表現，要求教師尊重和愛護每個學生的學習積極性，對學生的成績和點滴進步適時地加以肯定。采用口頭表揚和精神獎勵的方式，如獎給小紅花、紅星、紙制獎牌、課文中的人物卡通圖片等。特別要注意對學習后進的學生所取得的進步及時給予表揚。要求評價形式具有多樣性和可選擇性，以形成性評價為主，以學生平時參與各種英語教學活動所表現的興趣、態度和交流能力為主要依據。采用學生平時教學活動中常見的方式進行，重視學生的態度、參與的積極性、努力的程度、交流的能力以及合作的精神等。通過觀察學生的活動（講故事、說歌謠、唱歌曲、表演對話或短劇等），與學生交流，學生的自評、互評等生動活潑的方式進行。很多學校建立了學生的評價檔案。如學生的語音、書寫記錄，學生參與小組活動的情況記載，學生課余時間的學習拓展情況等統統作為學期總成績評定的指標參考。由于注重對學生平時學習情況及時地進行評價，有效地提高了學生學英語的積極性。除形成性評價外，小學三年級期末或學年考試以口試和聽力考查為主，五、六年級采用口試、聽力、筆試相結合的方式。口試主要考查學生實際的語言應用能力；筆試主要考查學生聽和讀的技能以及初步的寫作能力。評價采用等級制或達標方法記成績，不對學生按成績排隊或以此作為各種評比或選拔的依據。教學評價是為學習服務的，目的在于提高學生學習的效率，成為學生學習的動力和源泉，為學生的終身發展服務。
有效教學在小學英語教學中的實施是為了提高教師的工作效益、強化過程評價和目標管理。為此我始終從教學的準備、教學的實施、教學的評價三方面入手，自始至終地關注學生的進步和發展、關注教學效益，關注教學中的可測性。同時教師還應具備一種反思的意識，不斷地調整自己的教學行為掌握相關的教學策略，以便于自己面對具體的情景做出相應的決策，獲取最大的教學效益。
英語教學工作總結
這學期是我任教的第一學期，我擔任初一級七班，八班的英語教學。由于教學經驗頗淺。因此，我對教學工作不敢怠慢，認真學習，深入研究教法，虛心向前輩學習。經過一個學期的努力，獲取了很多寶貴的教學經驗。以下是我在本學期的教學情況。
教學就是教與學，兩者是相互聯系，不可分割的，有教者就必然有學者。學生是被教的主體。因此，了解和分析學生情況，有針對地教對教學成功與否至關重要。最初接觸教學的時候，我還不懂得了解學生對教學的重要性，只是專心研究書本，教材，想方設法令課堂生動，學生易接受。但一開始我就碰了釘子。在講授第一課的時候，我按照自己的教學設計，上了一堂自認為明白易懂而又不死板的課，認為教學效果如期理想，怎知小測出來才知道不如人意。后來聽同學們反應，才知道我講的口語大部分同學聽不懂，而教學的部分內容同學們以前從來未接觸過。從而可知，我在上課前根本沒有了解清楚學生的實際情觶?br>
一方面，農村的學生英語聽，說的能力相對較弱，授課采用較深的全英教學，同學們還不能適應。另一方面，七班的同學比較活躍，上課氣氛積極，但中等生占較大多數，尖子生相對較少。因此，講得太深，沒有照顧到整體，而八班的同學比較沉靜，學習欠積極性，雖然優良生比例大，但中下層面而也廣，我備課時也沒有注意到這點，因此教學效果不如理想。從此可以看出，了解及分析學生實際情況，實事求是，具體問題具體分析，做到因材施教，對授課效果有直接影響。這就是教育學中提到的“備教法的同時要備學生”。這一理論在我的教學實踐中得到了驗證。
教學中，備課是一個必不可少，十分重要的環節，備學生，又要備教法。備課不充分或者備得不好，會嚴重影響課堂氣氛和積極性，曾有一位前輩對我說：“備課備不好，倒不如不上課，否則就是白費心機。”我明白到備課的重要性，因此，每天我都花費大量的時間在備課之上，認認真真鉆研教材和教法，不滿意就不收工。雖然辛苦，但事實證明是值得的。
一堂準備充分的課，會令學生和老師都獲益不淺。例如我在教授unit 3 . lesson 9 的時候，這課的主題是“如何詢問和回答時間”，教學難度比較大。如果照本宣科地講授，學生會感到困難和沉悶。為了上好這堂課，我認真研究了課文，找出了重點，難點，準備有針對性地講。為了令教學生動，不沉悶，我還為此準備了大量的教具，授課時就胸有成竹了。當講到“half”的時候，我拿出準備好的圓卡紙，把它剪成一半，告訴學生這是圓的一半，也就是half。講到”quarter”時，又把半圓剪成一半，那么剩下來的就是圓的四分之一，也就是”quarter”了。這樣學生就形象地明白了這兩個單詞。而講到如何表達時間時，我用了一個用紅卡紙做的大鐘，同學們一開始就被它吸引住了，顯得頗有積極性。用實物讓學生練習”what’s the time? it’s”的句型，學生特別用功，教學效果十分理想。相反，我沒有認真備課的時候，課堂氣氛沉悶，教學效果不好，與此相比可見，認真備課對教學十分重要。特別是對英語這門學生不甚熟悉并感到困難的外語來說至關重要。
備課充分，能調動學生的積極性，上課效果就好。但同時又要有駕馭課堂的能力，因為學生在課堂上的一舉一動都會直接影響課堂教學。因此上課一定要設法令學生投入，不讓其分心，這就很講究方法了。上課內容豐富，現實。教態自然，講課生動，難易適中照顧全部，就自然能夠吸引住學生。所以，老師每天都要有充足的精神，讓學生感受到一種自然氣氛。這樣，授課就事半功倍。回看自己的授課，我感到有點愧疚，因為有時我并不能很好地做到這點。當學生在課堂上無心向學，違反紀律時，我的情緒就受到影響，并且把這帶到教學中，讓原本正常的講課受到沖擊，發揮不到應有的水平，以致影響教學效果。我以后必須努力克服，研究方法，采取有利方法解決當中困難。
英語是一門外語，對學生而言，既生疏又困難，在這樣一種大環境之下，要教好英語，就要讓學生喜愛英語，讓他們對英語產生興趣。否則學生對這門學科產生畏難情緒，不原學，也無法學下去。為此，我采取了一些方法，就是幫助班上的同學改英文名，盡量多講一些關于英美國家的文化，生活故事，近來更幫部分同學交上了”penfriend in america”，讓他們更了解英語，更喜歡學習英語。因為只有英語水平提高，他們才能達到交異國筆友的目的，同時也可以提高同學們的英語寫作能力，對成績優秀的同學很有好處。
