　　百萬英鎊讀書筆記

　　《百萬英鎊》是講一個貧窮、誠實的人，也就是這個故事的主人公收到了一對兄弟的信，信里面送給了他一百萬英鎊。原來這對兄弟打了一個賭，賭如果一個貧窮、誠實的人收到天上掉下的一百萬英鎊，他會有怎樣的'結果?哥哥認為他會餓死，因為他無法證明這些錢是他自己的，會受到別人的懷疑，連銀行都不會讓他存錢。弟弟則認為他會過得很好，于是他們兄弟倆將一百萬英鎊的支票借給了這個貧窮的人，并出國呆了三十天。沒想到在這段時間內，人們對這位突然暴富的罕見富翁，竟拼命地拉攏他，從免費吃飯，買衣服，到免費住宿，一個個像乞丐一樣討好他，并不斷提高他的社會地位，一直到了除王室外最高的公爵之上!不光如此，他還得到了一位好妻子和三萬英鎊的銀行利息，最后還從兩兄弟那兒得到了一份很好的工作。過著非常非常幸福的生活。

　　看到這兒，我很羨慕這位如此“幸運”的主人公，但同時我又想：人們之所以討好他，不就是因為當時人們太看重金錢了嗎?拜金主義是可恥的，不勞而獲更不應該!金錢不是萬能的，世界上還有許多比金錢更重要的東西……
