[俞敏洪 ] 生活中其實沒有絕境。絕境在于你自己的心沒有打開。你把自己的心封閉起來，使它陷于一片黑暗，你的生活怎么可能有光明!封閉的心，如同沒有窗戶的房間，你會處在永恒的黑暗中。但實際上四周只是一層紙，一捅就破，外面則是一片光輝燦爛的天空。
[ 俞敏洪 ] 思想是人的翅膀，帶著人飛向想去的地方。
[ 俞敏洪 ] 上帝制造人類的時候就把我們制造成不完美的人，我們一輩子努力的過程就是使自己變得更加完美的過程，我們的一切美德都來自于克服自身缺點的奮斗。
[俞敏洪 ] 為了不讓生活留下遺憾和后悔，我們應該盡可能抓住一切改變生活的機會。

[俞敏洪 ] 運氣永遠不可能持續(xù)一輩子，能幫助你持續(xù)一輩子的東西只有你個人的能力。
[俞敏洪 ] 誰說“機會面前，人人平等”，新東方相信，個人奮斗制勝、攫取成功的精神財產(chǎn)將永遠貧富不均。在浩瀚的生命之岸，你應該自豪地告訴世界，你追求過，你奮斗過，你為輝煌的人生從來沒有放棄過希望，從來沒有停止過拼搏。而這個造就了萬物的世界也將自豪而欣慰地回答你：只要奮斗不息，人生終將輝煌。
[俞敏洪 ] 有些人一生沒有輝煌，并不是因為他們不能輝煌，而是因為他們的頭腦中沒有閃過輝煌的念頭，或者不知道應該如何輝煌。
[俞敏洪 ] 在我們的生活中最讓人感動的日子總是那些一心一意為了一個目標而努力奮斗的日子，哪怕是為了一個卑微的目標而奮斗也是值得我們驕傲的，因為無數(shù)卑微的目標積累起來可能就是一個偉大的成就。金字塔也是由每一塊石頭累積而成的，每一塊石頭都是很簡單的，而金字塔卻是宏偉而永恒的。
[俞敏洪 ] 新東方“在絕望中尋找希望”這句話，跟美國著名的民權運動家 Martin Luther King所說的話是一模一樣的，他在 I have a dream演講詞中說過： "We will hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope."(我們從絕望的大山中砍出一塊希望的石頭。)請記住，絕望是大山，但是只要你能砍出一塊希望的石頭，你就有了希望。
[俞敏洪 ] 哪怕是最沒有希望的事情，只要有一個勇敢者去堅持做，到最后就會擁有希望。
[俞敏洪 ] 所有的人都是凡人，但所有的人都不甘于平庸。我知道很多人是在絕望中來到了新東方，但你們一定要相信自己，只要艱苦努力，奮發(fā)進取，在絕望中也能尋找到希望，平凡的人生終將會發(fā)出耀眼的光芒 ......
[俞敏洪 ] 光有奮斗精神是不夠的，還需要腳踏實地一步一步地去做。要先分析自己的現(xiàn)狀，分析自己現(xiàn)在處于什么位置，到底具備什么樣的能力，這也是一種科學精神。你給自己定了目標，你還要知道怎么樣去一步一步地實現(xiàn)這個目標。從某種意義上說，樹立具體目標和腳踏實地地去做同等重要。 [俞敏洪 ] 人生的奮斗目標不要太大，認準了一件事情，投入興趣與熱情堅持去做，你就會成功。
